The Threat to Cybersecurity is Real

June 22, 2018

A recent article (THIS IS NOT A DRILL: A CYBERTHREAT REALITY CHECK) published by Melbourne University states that there were over 47000 cyber-incidents last year. That's over 5 an hour. Its really no longer a matter of 'if' but 'when' your business will be impacted by a cyber security threat.

The number one threat to an organisation is still its people. Cybercriminals target businesses through their end users, often using user information as shared on social networks and other locations online to gain their trust. When end users unwittingly click phishing links, open malware attachments, or give up credentials and other sensitive information online, cybercriminals can bypass existing layers of security to successfully breach organizations' networks.

D&G Solutions Group's DigiSec offers a number of solutions that minimise this risk. The SecureTraining and SecureID services jumpstart an organisations ability to ensure that its staff become a true security asset and not a liability.

SecureTraining

With ongoing, relevant, engaging cybersecurity awareness training-such as phishing simulations, courses on IT and security best practices, and data protection and compliance training where relevant-businesses can significantly reduce the risks they face due to user error. Our Security Awareness Training (SAT) ensures that people, processes, and technology are all harnessed effectively together to stop cybercriminals. Global, real-time Threat Intelligence helps provide highly topical, relevant, and timely real-life educational content.

SecureID

SecureID is designed to help organisations detect and mitigate cyber threats that leverage stolen email addresses and passwords. SecureID leverages a combination of hum

an and artificial intelligence that scours botnets, criminal chat rooms, blogs, Websites and bulletin boards, Peer to Peer networks, forums, private networks, and other black-market sites 24/7, 365 days a year to identify stolen credentials and other personally identifiable information (PII).
